Wonderful stop on our drive down to Lyon. The winemaker is clearly passionate about his craft, spent ample time showing us the vineyards and conducting the tasting. Would highly recommend for anybody interested in the future of winemaking focusing on organic and biodynamic wines more attuned to nature and the earth

We had a very interesting and inspiring visit to Domaine de la Roche. Mathieu was extremely generous with his time and is passionate and knowledgeable about winemaking. He comes from a long line of family winemakers and is ambitious in his commitment to quality and to adopting environmentally sustainable winemaking practices. He brings a fascinating perspective to his family tradition while adding modern innovations. The wines are delicious! Highly recommended.

L'expérience était incroyable ! Merci beaucoup d'avoir pris le temps de nous faire visiter le vignoble et le cuvage. Les explications et les échanges étaient très intéressant ! C'était un plaisir de partager un tel moment avec un viticulteur passionné et humble ! Merci encore pour la dégustation dans une très belle cave! We visited Domaine de la Roche at the end of August and it was truly unforgettable experience. We were greeted by Matthew the wine maker and he took us to the wines to explain the nature of different types of wine produced on the estate. It was very interesting to about the family history of wine making. Matthew then took us to the fine production factory to explain the process of wine making showing the equipment used. It was really fascinating. Then we went for a wine tasting in the cellar. We had five types of wine and they were all different but tasty. We liked all wines and ended up buying 12 bottles , which were much loved and appreciated by those lucky one receiving gifts. we spent another week in France and enjoyed the wine every evening. By far, the best wine tasting we have ever had. Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys wine and want to learn more about wine making. Thank you Matthew for a beautiful day and delicious wine.
