Matthieu is een geweldig aardige kerel die erg mooi kan vertellen in heel goed Engels. De winnen waren bijzonder en check, er waren wat stukjes kaas en een stukje vlees maar zowel het proeven van de wijn als het eten was wat karig voor wat je betaald. Maar goed, je komt om wat te leren en dat zat goed: smaken leren herkennen en duiden is erg belangrijk en om die vaardigheid te trainen voor een een grote toer is een goed besluit gebleken

I've done several wine tastings in France, but this one was easily the most illuminating. Matthieu was very approachable and took his time to explain the different rules of wine tasting and answer questions. Apart from the excellent wine selection, I really enjoyed the aroma challenge. The whole group, young and old, agreed that we all learned a lot. Definitely the highlight of a trip to Dijon!
Mio marito ed io abbiamo fatto per la prima volta l’esperienza di un avvicinamento al vino tramite degustazione. Il nostro ospite, l’enologo Mathieu, ci ha accolti nella sua bella cantina facendoci prima avvicinare all’esperienza della degustazione tramite l’approccio olfattivo, con un simpatico quiz che ha coinvolto anche nostro figlio di 8 anni. Poi siamo passati agli assaggi, mentre lui ci spiegava tante cose con entusiasmo ed energia. Si vede che oltre ad essere competente è anche molto appassionato! Ci è piaciuto molto l’approccio sincero al vino, fatto senza giudicare dall’etichetta o dal costo ma “alla cieca”, provando prima a “sentire” in prima persona quelli che si stava degustando. Questa esperienza ha chiuso in bellezza la nostra gita nella fantastica Digione e in Borgogna.

He is a true expert who knows what and how to teach to us beginners. The time went super fast with getting to know 6 great wines from around the area. C'était très sympa, on était 3 et on a passé un très bon moment. Pauline était très disponible, à l'écoute et a répondu à toutes nos questions, elle a vraiment pris le temps pour nous. Un atelier à faire et très intéressant.
Our whole trip was amazing, and this wine tasting was truly the highlight.
