Domaine des Loups

Nous sommes venus entre amis faire la visite et c'était très sympa. La personne qui nous a fait la visite a bien pris le temps de tout bien expliquer, la dégustation par ailleurs était très bien aussi. On recommande!

This is a small Winery so the Owner, Eliette, was very attentive, informative and friendly, explaining about the industry, the winery and wine making and tasting process including her own transition from Hotel Services into the development of the Winery which is established and developing. Eliette spoke excellent English (despite her modesty) and our visit was a personal one so we got to know quite a lot about the challenges a small winery has and ask lots of questions. We also tasted 3 wines and Eliette explained each one in turn. We spent longer than the 1.5 hours there and the entusisam of Eliette was clear. So if you're looking for more than just sampling wine (which is typically all you get from larger Winery/Vineyards) and want to understand what really goes on behind the scenes of a winery and the wine industry then this winery is a perfect one. Also worth noting that Eliette has holiday rental accommodation in the village and is looking to expand this side of the business. So if you also want to immerse yourself then this winery comes recommended. I will certainly revisit this Winery in the future to see how the vineyards and the wine has developed but not Sept as they will be busy harvesting!!
