Domaine Massillan

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Charlotte. Un moment à la fois agréable et riche en découvertes. Nous repartons avec d’excellents vins et avons déjà hâte de revenir profiter d’un nouveau moment au domaine. Merci Charlotte ✨

Génial, tout s’est super bien passé ! C’était ma toute première visite dans un domaine et j’ai adoré. L’activité était très intéressante et accessible, j’ai appris beaucoup de choses. La dégustation proposait des vins variés, adaptés à tous les goûts, et chacun dans notre groupe y a trouvé son compte :)

We arrived for our planned visit (free) & had a lovely welcome from the owner - she was proud to share her heritage of the winery and then left us to explore - very hot day so didn’t walk the entire estate but got a overview of the care and passion that goes into producing their wine. Next was the tasting which was provided with water to cleanse the palate between tastings. Tasted some excellent wines (mainly white, which is our preference) & were provided with the history of the wine vintage it’s grape variety etc . Particularly liked the crib cards which helps you distinguish between the wines when tasting. There was no pressure to buy … but we did. We were also given an impromptu guide of the barrel making as it was late in the day and owner was checking all was okay. All in all a lovely relaxed experience with lovely wines to taste and a passionate generational owner - we even got organic veg thrown in free ? Feel they should make more of the organic status on the label. Thank you.

Visite très agréable ! Accueil chaleureux, avec en prime une petite exposition en cours qui a ajouté une touche culturelle à la dégustation. Nous avons pu poser toutes nos questions dans une ambiance détendue. Un très bon moment

We had a great experience at Domaine Massillan! Charlotte showed us around and explained the process of wine making. It was very interesting to see and hear. The wine tasting was also very good, we were able to try a lot of different wines which all had detailed descriptions. It was great that there was an English option for the tour and tasting. Domaine Massillan is a charming domaine in a beautiful area of southern France, near Montpellier. My wife & I were welcomed very warmly by Charlotte Reboul, the 7th generation of this family domaine. She looked after us, answered all our questions so that we learnt a lot! Most importantly, we tasted 4 exquisite wines from the domaine of excellent quality. We also had the opportunity to see an impressive art exhibition which was an unexpected bonus! All in all, a very pleasant way to spend an afternoon, & one I recommend to anyone who enjoys France & good wine!
