Camille was an excellent guide through the winery’s history, the climats of the surrounding area, and the winery’s specific plots. She was very patient with our questions and we were never rushed. The tasting highlighted differences among various vintages and plots which helped us choose the best wines to purchase for our tastes.

Bonjour, Dommage, nous venons souvent en Bourgogne pour acheter du vin, cette expérience à été décevante, dégustation payante et chère, vins blancs pas assez frais, vins rouges ouverts juste au moment de la dégustation, avec un achat de 200€ pas de geste commercial pour rembourser la dégustation comme dans les autres caves

Nous avons été super bien reçus par un jeune homme qui a très bien expliqué tout ce qu'il faut savoir sur les vins de Bourgogne. Il a su répondre à toutes nos questions. Les vins dégustés nous ont bien intéressé car nous en avons acheté. Bonne expérience !

We had a very nice visit and tasting at Prosper Maufoux. We especially appreciated how informative and friendly our guide was about the local production. We had a chance to taste several wines and he had us taste an extra one, over and above what we had booked. The location and tasting room are beautifully set above the vineyard. The guide made the experience personalised and fun and even helped with more local recommendations in the area. We really enjoyed and would happily recommend a visit to Prosper!
Best Experience in Burgundy

Don’t get me wrong, I have not been to every wine house in burgundy, but I’ve visited many across Champagne, South Africa, California, Australia, New Zealand…….. and I will stand by my statement that this is an exceptional tour. We spent nearly two hours with our wonderful & generous host. Our knowledge of burgundy, appellations, terroir, history, future, politics was enormously enhanced during this time - & that was before our tasting started. The tasting was delightful, comfortable & interesting surroundings, including a ledger from around World War I. Food pairings were offered with each tasting & we were provided with a notebook which gave tips on wine tasting & allowed us to make notes based on our own & our host’s observations. They have truly thought of everything, plus their wines are delicious. Wherever else you’re thinking of, go here, but be prepared if you go here first, you’ll be spoilt for the rest of your trip!!!
