Mooi huis en lekkere proeverij

De rondleiding door het huis was gedetailleerd, maar de kelders vielen wat tegen. Zijn relatief klein en de gids kon weinig over het productieproces vertellen. De proeverij was lekker maar ook hier weinig aanvullende informatie. We hadden een rondleiding met 6 personen geboekt, maar de groep was twee keer zo groot.... Het huis zelf, de tuin en de kelders zelf zijn overigens wel prachtig en sfeervol.

Christina was wonderful. She was a gracious tour guide that enjoys her job. She loved guiding us through the house and showing us special items and teaching aspects about the house. It was a nice tour and we would love to come back!

The tour of the house and cellars was very informative and that Princes Champagne tastings were perfect. But the highlight was meeting and talking with fellow travellers who have the same love of Champagne!

The tasting was super easy to set up. We were greeted professionally and quickly, then told about the establishment, wine and our menu options. Great service. We would recommend!

Very good experience, great welcome,we were a little bit early but it was no problem .The different tastings were explained very well and we felt very welcome. Would highly recommend!

We walked from the balloon roundabout to the De Venoge Chateau (about 15 mins). It was amazing, so worth the walk in 30 C ?☀️. The staff were so friendly, always helpful and welcoming. We were shown to our seats under a large sunshade whereby we tasted the two types of Champagne (large glasses) and two types of cheeses over a good 90 mins,, very relaxing. We can only say it was worth doing an advanced booking and throughly enjoyed the experience.

My family and I discovered a nice wine bar. We just thought we were a bit on our own but we also appreciated the engagement with the other people there. We learned about the winery and enjoyed the moment.
Nice tasting, decent tasting space & champagnes

We only did a tasting, which was served in a nicely decorated space off the store area. The staff was nice, but did not seem as welcoming or engaging as those at the other champagne houses we visited. The champagne was nice, but we didn't like it as much as that from other houses. The bottles are beautiful as are the glasses, so worth a purchase if you want to enjoy a decent champagne and a bottle you can later repurpose.
