Meukow Cognac

Une super visite ni trop longue, ni trop courte qui permet de connaître le process de fabrication du cognac de la maison Meukow, ceci tres bien "orchestré" par Maxime avec des films aux plus beaux effets! Rapport qualité/prix : ++ avec dégustation à la fin de la visite et son mode de dégustation pour apprécier au mieux cet alcool.

Dans un très bel établissement apprenez le cognac de A à Z, découvrez la maison Meukow ses origines et son patrimoine expliqué par Maxime guide passionné et passionnant. Une très belle visite très intéressante clôturée par l’apprentissage d’une dégustation. Une activité à faire en famille (avec des ados) sans problème. Seule petite déception il n’y a pas d’alambic sur place. Le point fort, la visite à taille humaine en petit groupe et le rapport qualité prix. Nous recommandons vivement la visite!!! Merci pour cette belle découverte .

Nous avons passé un très bon moment, visite très intéressante. Pleinement satisfait de cette visite et des conseils et accompagnement pendant la dégustation.

I'm really sorry to say this but I would not recommend this tour. It felt like a very scripted talk through the tour. I give it 2/5 stars since we did get some history of Cognac, but everything went by so fast it would have been difficult to understand had we not read about the things earlier in the city. The host constantly kept asking if we have any questions and we should freely ask anything, but when we asked even anything simple, the host didn't understand the question likely because we spoke English. So we just gave up on asking anything because after the second try it became rather awkward for the host and us. Would have been cool to hear more about the production etc. (we are a bunch of engineers) but we left that behind this time. The tasting, I have to say, was good. The host explained the stages of the tasting (smelling, small sip, bigger sip, notes...) so I liked that.

We spent some great family time yesterday at Meukow Cognac . The staff were welcoming and hospitable, and as we travelled by car to the tour/tasting it was handy to be able to park on site. We were given an engaging tour and understanding of the making of Cognac and the history of Meukow. Our guide Veronique got the pace of the pace of the presentation just right and encouraged questions. The videos used broke up sections of the tour. We ended our tour in the the beautiful reception building for the tasting of Cognac . Needless to say we left some purchases .

Une expérience absolument exceptionnelle chez Meukow. La maison est magnifique, l’accueil chaleureux et la visite passionnante du début à la fin.Un immense merci tout particulièrement à Maxime, qui nous a offert une visite privée tout simplement parfaite. Sa passion, ses connaissances et sa manière de raconter l’histoire de la maison rendent l’expérience inoubliable. Et le fait d’avoir pu faire la visite en russe a été extrêmement apprécié.Honnêtement, il serait difficile de trouver un meilleur guide.Le déjeuner était lui aussi au-delà de toutes nos attentes : raffiné, délicieux et parfaitement accompagné. Quant aux cocktails à base de cognac, je pense sincèrement que je m’en souviendrai toute ma vie — ils étaient absolument magnifiques.Nous avons passé un moment merveilleux et garderons un souvenir exceptionnel de cette visite.Je recommanderai la maison Meukow avec grand plaisir autour de moi, et nous reviendrons certainement lors d’un prochain séjour dans la région.Encore merci à toute l’équipe Meukow et surtout à Maxime pour cette expérience véritablement hors du commun.
