Château Phélan Ségur

Our visit was fantastic. We saw the vineyards and tried some excellent wine. We had a very clear explanation on the "terroir" and our guide was friendly and thoughtful, not hesitating to go the extra mile to make sure we enjoyed the visit. I would highly recommend it!

Our guide was absolutely wonderful & extremely knowledgeable. Wonderful wines. We tasted the 2016, 2017, & 2023 vintages of the grand vin. Highly recommend. Will definitely return. Thank you.

We had the pleasure of visiting Chateau Phélan-Ségur and with Mathilde, we got an outstanding guide. She told us so many useful details about what vines grow where and how and why, but also about the whole vilification process and the chateau. This was one of the most informative wine tours I have had and I can highly recommend this visit, including obviously the wine tasing itself. Very well done!

Anne recieved us and told us all about the wiens that they grow. The sun, the wind and the terroir. The slopes of the hills, the soil, the harvesting season and the cruelty of nature playing its tricks with heat and horror hail storms. We had a truly nice visit to the warehouse were hundreds of barrels are neatly stocked. A beautiful sight. And than the tasting of Phelan Segur. 2016, 2017 and 2018. Very different. Complex, beautiful wines. The 2018 is strong and powerfull. What a beautiful wine. The Chateau is set in a beautiful enviroment. A parc and views of the river from the top of the hill. Class, taste and history combined. Thank you for the wonderfull experience.

Eine interessante Chateau Führung und ausführliche Weinprobe zu den drei verkosteten Weinen. Die 1,5 Stunden waren sehr ausführlich und haben einen guten Einblick in die Weinherstellung gegeben. Die Preis-Leistung von 70 Euro war etwas zu hoch.

The staff were friendly (lady who gave yours), the visit was informative and she answered all questions from the group, the tasting was also done well serving vertical tasting. The ladies were served first. We bought 2 bottles 2019 - 26Euros and 2016 - 56Euros which we thought we liked.

We really enjoyed our visit to Château Phélan Ségur. The tour guide was super informative and friendly, and the wine was fabulous. Highly recommend.
