Champagne Harlin Père et Fils

We waren met 6 personen waaronder twee kinderen van 12 en 13. We werden hartelijk ontvangen in dit kleine maar hard werkende champagnehuis. Rondleiding kon in het Frans of Engels. Wij kozen voor Frans en kregen een uitgebreide uitleg over de geschiedenis van het huis. Veel ruimte tot vragen stellen. Interactieve rondleiding ook doordat de gids ons liet raden naar enkele antwoorden. De proeverij was meer dan wat we verwacht hadden. Zeer uitgebreid kunnen proeven. Voor de twee kinderen die mee waren werd een druivensapje voorzien. Geen druk om te kopen, wel een eerlijk verhaal met fierheid gebracht.

From the moment we arrived and were welcomed by Chléo, the experience was a complete joy. Chléo was passionate about her subject and shared her knowledge freely and with good detail to help us understand the champagne making process. Visiting the vineyard was really helpful and interesting and Chléo answered all our questions in good detail. Viewing all the equipment involved in the process was very interesting and visiting the cellars was especially good. Such a lot goes into the process of making champagne. The tasting was wonderful and we were able to understand the differences in the samples, which Chléo explained so well. Thoroughly recommended.

We have been welcomed and took on a visit of the cellar by the owner who was very kind and passionate. He gave us the possibility to taste the freshly pressed juice directly from the fermentation tanks to appreciate the differences between the different grape varieties. We tasted 7 wines at the end, all their products plus a new (not yet in commerce) one. Overall a beautiful visit I strongly recommend if you love small champagne producers.

Très belle visite excellentes explications avec des recherches pour améliorer le terroir suivant l'évolution de la nature . Dégustation très détaillée et explicite .

Tom nous a accueillis, nous a fait le tour et nous a fait déguster tous les champagnes disponibles. Il a pris le temps de nous expliquer toutes les subtilités qui font des caves Harlin ce qu'ils sont. Meilleure visite de notre séjour dans la région.

Nous étions partis pour réaliser une visite dégustation de 2h00 le matin. Nous sommes ressortis à 16h00 ! L'accueil était très agréable, pas de chichi comme dans les grandes maisons. Les explications étaient très claires, sur le terrain (pas avec un audioguide et des vidéos) et le vigneron disponible pour toutes nos questions ! Nous avons eu la chance qu'il n'ait pas eu d'autres visites dans la journée. Ce fut l'occasion de manger ensemble et d'en apprendre plus sur le terroir & les traditions.
