Château de Reignac

Belle visite au château de Reignac , explications très intéressantes , surtout en cette période de vendanges, où chacun est très occupé , nous avons bien ressenti la prévision du travail de chacun afin de réaliser des vins excellents. La dégustation dans le beau pigeonnier, une belle fin à cette visite . Merci à Fernanda, qui nous a fait voyager à Reignac !

We had great time at Chateau de Reignac! The staff brought us around to discover the chateau and the superb philosophy of the producer. Plus, we had the chance to taste (and buy, obviously) some great millesime of their best wines, something that happens very few times. Top choice!

I have been on a few vineyard tours but this one was my favourite. Our guide was very engaging, he gave us enough information to keep us interested without boring and it felt more like a conversation than a lecture. The chateau and grounds are beautiful and the short walks between areas were part of the experience. The tasting was unique and a great experience. We had a wonderful afternoon!

We were given a wine tasting experience here with a charming guide who spoke perfect English and gave an outstanding explanation of the complexities of wine production and its history within the Bordeaux region together with ideas about future challenges. A stunning chateau site and tasting in a unique Dovecote developed for the actual blending that takes place. Strongly recommend .

This is a lovely estate giving the visitor the opportunity to have a more than a wine tasting experience : the Château de Reignac is beautiful, the vat room with the concrete eggs and the barrels impressive, the well-preserved park with its flora beautiful, Eiffel's greenhouse remarkable and the 16th century dovecote where we had our wine tasting gorgeous. Reinhard our host was very friendly, well-informed and made our visit one to remember. I would suggest to the owners to also include a wine and food tasting experience in the garden or in the dovecot.

Ce n'est pas la première fois que je visite une propriété viticole dans le bordelais ou ailleurs mais je n'avais jamais vécu un moment aussi exceptionnel. Avec mon amie, nous avons été accueilli par un jeune homme très bien élevé et d'origine allemande parlant un français presque parfait. Un garçon très disponible et très documenté pour répondre à toutes nos questions. Nous avons découvert (de l'extérieur) un très belle bâtisse entièrement restaurée au milieu d'un parc splendide, puis entamé la visite des installations, avec toutes les explications dont on peu rêver pour situer l""Entre deux mers", comprendre que cette propriété est atypique par son sol, évoqué les cépages, découvrir le cycle d'exploitation depuis les vendanges aujourd'hui mécanisées jusqu'au vieillissement selon les cas en barriques neuves ou pas, saisir le processus de sélection des grains de raison, la vinification dans des installations rutilantes, découvrir l'usage d'amphores à la façon de nos anciens sous l'antiquité, admiré le chai, compris les étapes qui conduisent à un vin blanc, rosé ou plutôt rouge, saisi la démarche marketing et la structuration de l'offre du Château principalement autour d'un blanc sec et fruité (nous le recommandons !) et de trois vins rouges dont un nous a beaucoup séduit, sans être le plus onéreux, enfin pris toute la mesure de cette aventure d'un chef d'entreprise qui a choisi d'investir dans le vin et dans cette propriété magique, pour le plus grand plaisir de nos yeux, de notre odorat et de notre palet, lors d'une dégustation dans un lieu à nul autre pareil. Magique. Bravo !

Une visite spectaculaire. Alexandra a été une guide spectaculaire. Informations précises et curiosités en rapport avec le monde du vin. Un peu d'histoire et de curiosités ont rendu la visite excellente. Bon accueil et excellente cordialité. Recommandé à tous les publics.

Thank you for a really wonderful couple of hours. The tour was informative, interesting and relaxed, the chateau is beautiful and the wine tasting was really fun and delicious. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a wine experience off the tourist trail.

Superbe dégustation, pour tout le monde que ce soit au niveau du prix ou du goût. L’accueil était parfait, rien à redire, de jolies histoires racontées sur le domaine et ses vins.
