Domaine Besancenot

Dominique and Thérèse, representatives of the sixth generation of Besancenot family winemakers, whose activity dates back to 1850, are today the artisans of this beautiful heritage. Very attached to the Burgundian terroir, they work to enhance the typicity of each of the plots of their 10 hectares, covering 12 noble grape varieties: 100% Pinot ... Noir for the Reds and Rosé, and Chardonnay or Aligoté for the Whites.

Anxious to perpetuate traditional Burgundian know-how and preserve their natural heritage, Dominique and Thérèse obtained HVE (High Environmental Value) certification in 2018. At the Besancenot winery, the soil is worked mechanically or manually, without chemical weed killers or insecticides, and the vinification is done in the traditional way, with indigenous yeasts, and separately for each appellation. The wines are then aged in old oak barrels to preserve the aromas of the terroir. see more
