About the winery

In the 15th century, the Château de la Créte was one of the land of Nicolas Rolin, Chancellor of the Duke of Burgundy and his wife Guigogne de Salin, founders of the famous Hospices de Beaune, where wine was already produced. We were met with a smile and the led on a very informative tour of the area, its history, the aspects of the various Climats, and the techniques in wine making; giving us a deeper appreciation of just how complex it is to make great wine. The tasting was comfortable, not rushed, not bent on sales, and was tailored to some degree based on our conversations. The wines were varied in complexity and paired nicely - all very good to excellent. Definitely, a well spent afternoon with opportunities to continue appreciating Chateau de la Cree at home.

Nous avons passé un excellent moment ! Les informations étaient très intéressantes, notre guide a répondu à toutes nos questions de manière très pro et très aimable.Les vins goûtés.... un délice!! Nous sommes évidemment répartis avec un carton !Je conseille, allez-y les yeux fermés!

Une visite décontractée et professionnelle, adaptée et personnalisée, un super accueil: chaleureux et instructif, un château avec son histoire et un lieu planté au milieu de vignes magnifiques surplombees par un moulin qui donne une vue paroramique époustouflante. Si vous ne savez pas choisir où aller.. vous avez trouvé votre desti"nez";-)
