In the 15th century, the Château de la Créte was one of the land of Nicolas Rolin, Chancellor of the Duke of Burgundy and his wife Guigogne de Salin, founders of the famous Hospices de Beaune, where wine was already produced. Très belle expériences. Les vins sont très bien présenté ainsi que le domaine. La dégustation est très bien faites et avec un très beau paysage.

We booked the tour and tasting after seeing previous reviews that suggested the appetisers were generous and we were going to treat it as a light lunch to accompany some wine tasting.We arrived at this grand winery and were in awe of the stunning chateau and location.We were hosted by a friendly and knowledgeable sommelier who took us through a brief tour of the ancient 15th century cellar.After the brief tour we tasted 6 wines, 3 whites and 3 reds. The wines here are very pricey and the most expensive was 290 euros and cheapest was 45 euros. It was our mistake coming to this chateau expecting to buy a case of wine after the tasting.The appetisers were very disappointing, especially considering the cost of the experience, and also the cost of the wines. We were given a small plate of 6 tiny cheese puffs between us and some small cubes of cheese to accompany the tasting. The experience lasted just under an hour.You should know that the price you pay here, is not for the quality of the experience but for a chance to have a small taste of very expensive wine from a prestige winery.Overall, it felt disappointing for us maybe because they are using the experience as a tourist activity to make money rather than an opportunity to sell wine to make money.

Nous avons passé un très bon moment avec Laurine qui nous a fait découvrir le Château, son histoire et une explication claire et passionnée des vins de bourgogne. La dégustation a été aussi un très beau d’échange. Merci encore Au grand plaisir

Nous avons été reçus et accompagnés par Marisa avec laquelle nous avons passé une très bonne visite. Ses explications m' ont permis d'approfondir mes connaissances et d'apprécier encore un peu plus le vin. Ce fut un très bon moment pour cette belle journée.
