Domaine Frédéric Berne

Nous avons été bien accueilli. Avec la découverte du village de Lantignié. Non loin de Villie Morgon. On découvre un passionné, et on redécouvre le processus de création des vins. On a passé un très bon moment avec la découverte de nombreux vins !

A warm welcome and accommodating to our poor French our host was hugely knowledgeable and passionate about the wine of the town. Trying to compete with names like Fleurie and Brouilly a challenge for anyone but the wines we tasted were really good and certainly stood up to more well known appellations. Highly recommend and wish them the best with this years harvest.

Nous avons eu le bonheur de visiter le magnifique domaine et de déguster des vins excellents. La présentation du domaine était captivante et l'histoire racontée avec passion et simplicité. Les vins...une merveille...très qualitatifs et un rapport qualité/prix excellent. Bref, une très belle expérience que nous recommandons. Pour ma part, j'ai trouvé un domaine où m'approvisionner régulièrement.

Excellent moment passé hier au domaine avec Frédéric ! Entre la visite des vergers, la découverte du vignoble en agriculture biologique et la dégustation des vins, tout était parfait.Frédéric partage avec passion sa démarche de transition vers une culture plus respectueuse de l’environnement, c’est vraiment inspirant.Je recommande à 100 % !

Je connaissais le domaine par ses vins que j ai l’habitude de découvrir & boire mais je n’étais jamais venue au domaine. Nous avons étés formidablement bien accueillis par Antoine qui nous a partagé sa passion et ses nombreuses connaissances du vin, de la région & du domaine Frederic Berne. À recommencer sans tarder

Driving through the beautiful little villages on the way to our degustation was a treat within itself. Our wine experience was wonderful. We learned so much about the Beaujolais terroir, how the quality of grapes have been improved and the different styles of Gamay wines there. We were very impressed with our first Gamay experience, purchasing a small amount for our travels, and keeping details so we can ship more to our French address. The whole experience was fantastic. We would gladly recommend.

Had a fantastic tour and tasting from Antoine (in English) in this small organic vineyard/ winery. Fascinating presentation first out with the vines and then in the winery about the terroir, and the organic cultivation and then production of the wine they make here. Antoine is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic.And then to tasting the fantastic wines they make here . Very interesting to taste the difference between the various wines all 100% Gamay,caused by terroir and different production techniques. No sales pressure at all, but of course I had to buy a bottle or two to take away to enjoy laterThe location is very much a working winery , and is not glitzy or polished in any way whatsoever. But that adds to the authenticity and charm of the place . (For comparison I went straight afterward to another much bigger much more commercial operation in Fleurie. Their-tasting room was very tastefully decorated, but the lady running my tasting was disinterested and their wines more expensive but inferior)So visiting Antoine and colleagues at Domaine Frederick Berne is totally recommended, for a warm welcome, an involving presentation and some great wines . I hope to come back 1 day.On a practical note , the winery is located in the Chateau de Vergers, but is separate to their own winery.

My family of five had a wonderful late morning in this beautiful vineyard. We learned so much about the region and the wines in particular and truly appreciated our host and his wealth of knowledge. Highly recommend.
