Domaine Emmanuel Fellot

We left our bed-and-breakfast in thick fog that persisted through our drive until we reached the top of a mountain--on the other side was full sun and a stunning landscape. This domaine is up another slope, built higgledy-piggledy over the centuries out of a mixture of blue, pink and yellow stone, very lived-in and gorgeous in the sunlight. We were warmly welcomed by Nadège Fellot who shared her love of the land and her care to preserve its integrity and bio-diversity, along with the history of the family she married into and of the wine she makes with her husband. It's wonderful wine, as warm as its makers, and she brought out local bread, sausage and cheese to set it off, as well as inviting her daughter to come talk with us about the literature she's studying, a passion we share. I cannot recommend this visit strongly enough.

My wife and I and my brother and his wife did a tasting here and it was so much more than that! We were greeted by Nadege and her lovely dog “happy” and immediately we felt welcomed and comfortable. Located on a hillside next to a 12th century hunting house, used previously for a nearby chateau, the setting was rustic and lovely! After a brief history and a inciteful discussion about the geology and terroir of Beaujolais we had an amazing tasting with accompanied bread, cheeses and sausage. All of the wines were super, they even produce a Burgundy Pinot Noir that was exceptional! We absolutely loved the host, setting, food and wine, can’t say enough about it! A unique intimate experience that we highly recommend!

Couple passionné et qui transmet bien sa passion. Explications très intéressantes. Vins de qualité et travaillés avec finesse. Accords fromages, charcuteries et vins agréables. Vue magnifique. Expérience appréciable et échanges chaleureux.

We had a wonderful time at Emmanuel Fellot. The tour was informative and the wine was great. We sampled 9 different wines and they were all so different yet all so good. We also enjoyed getting to know the owners who were very friendly.

Nous avons passé un excellent moment en compagnie de Nadège qui nous a présenté le métier de vigneron et partager son amour de la terre et de la vigne. Nous avons également eu la chance deguster sa production avec des produits locaux. A faire sans hésitation pour un moment de convivialité et de partage.

Une expérience authentique et enrichissante. Le professionnalisme et la passion, combinés à la qualité des vins et à la beauté du lieu, rendent cette visite incontournable pour toute personne de passage dans le Beaujolais. Je recommande vivement !

Nous avons passé un super moment ! Nadège est très accueillante et parle très bien anglais. Nous avons pu apprendre beaucoup de choses, c'était une expérience enrichissante et les vins étaient très bons (et sont vendus à prix très abordables !). Merci beaucoup !

Une belle après midi de dégustation généreuse (si on ne conduit pas !), une ambiance chaleureuse et sympathique, la chorale du village enthousiaste, de bons moments pour profiter de la vie et du bon vin !
