At Michel Tixier we were very friendly welcomed by the owner at their shop. There were quite some people, but it felt like we all got the attention and instructions that were needed in order for different tours that started around the same time. It felt well organised.The son of the owner took us on a tour, his explanation was very clear, he made sure to check if everything was clear and if anyone would have questions, he took time and made sure to see and hear everyone. When we complimented him on his English, he proudly explained he did his best to learn everything by heart to do the tour in English; very well done!Although the champagne house is relatively "small" with 9 hectares, the production process, the work and cellars were very impressive. It was a lot of fun that we could try la remuage ourselves, to not only see, but also feel the logics behind it.At the end of the tour we were welcomed back at their shop for the dégustation of 3 wonderful champagnes. The taste was excellent, the 3rd rose champagne was surprisingly nice and the son explained it was his favourite for dessert with red fruits.We can highly recommend this tour and champagne house. It is informative, clear, but especially very personal, warm and the champagnes are amazing!PS: We were with 3 young kids, they also enjoyed the tour and during the little walks in between it was nice that they got nice attention too, even though the youngest of only 1 year old was tired and cried every now and then. We still felt welcomed.

As a small group of Italian friends, we really enjoyed the visit! It's a family-owned business and we had plenty of time to learn step-by-step about the production method. Wine tasting was relaxing and we had a chance to try different styles before buying them at a very competitive price, international shipping included. Recommended!

Très bonne visite, je recommande. L'équipe est sympa, experte et la dégustation est bien fournies. C'est au milieu des vignes et ils organisent l'été des balades vélos. L'idéal serait d'intégré une petite partie dans les vignes.

Nous recherchions une visite authentique, qui allait nous faire découvrir les détails de la préparation du champagne, et pas juste une visite de cave. Nous n’avons pas été déçus, c’était une visite très enrichissante, animée par le petit fils de Michel T., nous avons vu le processus de confection, visité leur cave, dégusté leur champagne, et vu leurs vignes. La découverte devait durer 1h30, elle a duré +2h et nous remercions Élio de sa disponibilité, ses explications, et d’avoir répondu à nos nombreuses questions.. on reviendra avec plaisir l’été pour un tour de vélo dans les vignes !
