Château Gigognan

We were welcomed before we even got out of the car in this beautiful location. Our guide was excellent - he really knew the business of making wine and the experience the drinking wine can provide. We learned sooo much about the wines of the area. A great educational and taste experience!! Unfortunately, I don't think we ever got the name of the young man who guided us through the experience.

Très joli domaine et un accueil chaleureux! Des explications claires et précises et sans trop en faire. Choix des vins sympa mais malheureusement pas a notre goût. Je recommande tout de même!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our tasting experience at Chateau Gigognan on a cold windy day for April. Our host, a young man quite new to the winery, was warm, charming and demonstrated great knowledge of the process, appellations and palate through a number of wines. The Chateauneuf du pape wines were particularly great, and we took home some special wines produced from many different varieties of vines within the same plot - a style we had not known existed. The estate is amazing - established by a retired Roman soldier, minded by Catholic monks in the Middle Ages, and now a beautiful winery. So much history!

A very interesting wine cellar, with Côtes du Rhône and Chateaunef du Pape wines. Both the visit and the tasting were enhanced by an extremely knowledgeble, friendly expert, Lucas, who made our experience really worth. A highly recomendable visit: Chateau Gigognan and their staff will not disappoint you!

On a cold and windy January day, We were greeted warmly by Claude at Chateau Gigognan. Our tour was informative and friendly, we were lucky to meet their excellent young winemaker Jenna briefly. Our tasting session was great fun with a couple of extra wines included , and a bonus quick tour of the accommodation they have at Chateau Gigognan convinced us we must return one day with friends to use this marvelous place as a base to explore this region.100% recommend

Première découverte de la région et de ses richesses ..dont le vin Châteauneuf du Pape. Très bon accueil ,visite des chais détaillée et instructive . Très belle découvertes en dégustation On recommande !!
