About the winery

In 1927, Hachod Fringhian, the grandfather of Charlotte Morgain Le Gallais, obtained the Clos du Château de Boursault, which had long belonged to Madame Veuve Clicquot.
Five generations later, Charlotte runs part of the estate: 7 parcels with their own characteristics, in the family vineyard, overlooking the Marne valley.

Visite intéressante malheureusement, nous n’avons pas eu l’occasion de visiter les caves de vieillissement comme annoncé dans la description de l’activité. Les champagnes sont très intéressants. Beaucoup de recherche pour proposer des champagnes différents.

Sabrage and tasting was super unique and fun

Planned the Sabrage for my cousin. We all had blast and even compared our final sabrage results. My wife had the most precise cut, but since in the end we all tasted the delicious contents no one really wanted bragging rights. This was a fun, unique event with some very tasty results. The vintage Champagne is a real value. You just can’t participate directly in a sabrage demonstration at sparkling wine house in the States. Was so happy to have found this event.

The house is fairly tiny and they sent not that well educated guides with you, the staff is nice though and the wine is not bad
