About the winery

Founded in Cumières in 1872 by Lucien Leclerc, the Domaine moved to Epernay in 1955. At the same time, under the leadership of Bertrand Leclerc, great-grandson of the founder, and his wife Jacqueline Briant, the Domaine became a Maison de Négoce, and took the name Leclerc Briant. We had a fantastic time. The young man who hosted our tasting, I can't remember his name, but he was fantastic - extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the wines. Out of over 30 tastings we've done, this would certainly be in the top three !
