Marine was a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable. The cellar and chateau tours were great. The 3 different champagne tastings were great. Two people in our group did the saber bottle opening, well done.
Champagne experience with sabrage

Fantastic experience in the stunning Chateau Lafond. Our guide was incredibly knowledgable of the history of the champagne houses, the champagne process was explained with great interest, the champagne tasting was generous and beautiful, very smooth and delicious on the palate. Top this experience with being taught how to use the sabrage to uncork the bottle. A wonderful time within a small group of lovely people

My husband, son, and I have been to Epernay before, but never visited Domaine Comtesse Lafond. The Promenade du chateau was such a great event. Completely different from any other champagne house tour that we’ve attended. The variety of champagne and wine offerings was a highlight. The grounds and Château are beautiful and it was just a perfect day.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis, le personnel était vraiment sympathique et attentionné. Le cadre est superbe et le champagne de qualité, nous avons passé un très bon moment et nous avons particulièrement apprécié les explications données pour chaque cuvée. Nous aurions simplement aimé en apprendre un peu plus sur l’histoire du Domaine et de la confection du champagne. Merci pour cette expérience !

Accueil, histoire du domaine et de la famille, histoire du champagne et de sa fabrication, dégustation de 3 cuvées, visite du château… en petit nombre… tout était parfait et les champagnes étaient très bons. Une très belle visite-découverte (bien mieux que dans d’autres domaines dits plus prestigieux). Nous recommandons !
