Domaine Michelas Saint Jemms

Great tour and tasting! Simple and clear explanations, from wine yards to production process and tasting. High quality wines for the tasting as well. We have planned our visit with our dog, it was a pleasurable experience. Strongly advised if you are in this area!

Nous avons profité d'une visite-dégustation du domaine en couple pour l'anniversaire de mon conjoint, et avons vraiment apprécié la convivialité et l'authenticité du domaine. Nous avons visité les vignes, posé des questions à propos des méthodes de vinification et en avons appris long sur les appellations du domaine, puis avons pu rattacher toutes ces paroles aux vins lors de la dégustation, qui était sur-mesure selon nos préférences. Ce fut donc un très bon moment passé au domaine, ce qui nous a motivé à revenir découvrir d'autres domaines familiaux dans la région prochainement !

Really enjoyed the tour as well as the tasting. The place is beautiful even in bad weather, and feels very rural compared to wineries located in Tain L'Hermitage. Wonderful smells all around the cellar.

We visited this winery with no expectations as it was the first time to it since being in France. The hostess was very friendly, and knowledgable about the winery's vinification processes, and the family, and she made us feel very welcome. The tour into the vineyard was very good and we were given great explanations about the varietals the winery grew, and the region in general. The cellar discussion was very compelling and we learned some new information about different processes this winery uses to age the wine. Overall, we were very happy with the tour, and the tasting was excellent! The wines our hostess provided were of a wide range (reds and whites), and very nice to taste. The Syrah's were very nice! I have no problem recommending this winery for a visit!

Nous avons été bien accueillis et avons eu des explications intéressantes de notre guide sur les vignes et la production du vin. Les vins dégustés en fin de séance étaient également de qualité

Nous avons eu la chance de visiter les vignes et la cave du domaine. Les explications ont été très complètes. La fin de la visite a été suivie d une très bonne dégustation avec un très bon chupis de vins de plusieurs appellations. Merci pour ce bon moment
