Champagne Baron Dauvergne

You can explore the region at your own pre with good champagne for on the road. Fun to do with friends, highly recommended. Tasting afterwards is nice and relaxed

Wir fanden alles sehr schön, man hat sich für insgesamt 3 Personen sehr viel Zeit genommen. Auch mit kleinen sprachlichen Problemen alles gut zu übermitteln. Mit einer sehr freundlichen, netten, persönlichen Art. War nicht kleinlich was die Auswahl anbelangt. Wir können es nur weiterempfehlen.

Our host was super nice and knowledgeable and the tasting was very fun. The champagne itself was yummy and we tasted quite a variety. It was all around a great experience.

Highly recommended! We're in the Champagne region for 6 days and we've been to quite a few tastings, tours and activities. Everything we've done has been very good--Pommery especially. But the Pack Moke at Baron Dauvergne was THE BEST! We were warmly greeted by Mathieu, a great great grandson of the founder, and set up with a bottle of really good champagne, an electric Jeep-type vehicle, a Google Maps GPS of two destinations in their vineyards up in the hills, and set loose! We spent a lovely afternoon in the hills of Bouzy soaking in the scenery and watching the vintners in action. We enjoyed our picnic lunch and champagne and surveyed the vistas of the Champagne region. Honestly, it was glorious and as much as we've enjoyed the other tours and activities, Baron Dauvergne was a breath of fresh air...literally and figuratively. When we returned to the reception area, we tasted a port-like product, made from the same grapes as champagne, that they also make, called Ratafia Champenois. It was really unique and quite delicious, and so we're taking a bottle of that home with us as well as a few bottles of their champagne. If you're in the area, don't miss Baron Dauvergne and the Pack Moke tour!

Our rating is the max, because the grandson who did the was very patient and took time to answer all our questions.

The experience was very nice. We were there with our friends and enjoyed both the tour and the tasting! There was a great variety of champagnes to try, and we ended up buying a few bottles each. The tour was very informative, and you can truly see that they have a genuine passion for the champagne they produce. I would definitely give the visit a 5 and highly recommend it!
