Château Gravas

We were guided by Florence through the history of their chateau, their wine, their process and their struggles. It was a wonderful experience and she provided us with insight into her family’s life work. Their 2022 Sauternes was exquisite. Very grateful for her time and all she shared!

The tour provided by Florence was exceptional. She is incredibly knowledgeable and engaging throughout the tour. The wines at Château Gravas are of great quality. I would highly recommend this experience.

Passionate tour of a family run estate culminating with an excellent tasting. We left with a great memory and a case of their amazing Barsac Sauternes

We had a very nice, beautiful and also interesting tour by the owner (Florence). She gave us a lot of information about the wine and the region. Then we were allowed to taste the wine (6 in total!). Each and every one excellent and honest wines. The bottles are decorated with beautiful labels made by a French artist. In the Château hang several works of art by the same artist. A successful combination of wine and art.

Our host was wonderful and attentive. She had great knowledge and exuded pride in her job. We really enjoyed our visit and learnt a lot about the production and history of Sauternes and Barsac wines. We came away with an appreciation of how hard the winemakers work and the challenges they face especially with the climate. The sweet white wines of the chateau were delicious
