It was at the foot of the Hermitage, in 1946, that our story began, driven by Jean Ferraton's passion for the vine and today by that of Michel, his son, for the Northern Rhône terroirs.

Great visit and great wines

We had a wonderful time at Ferraton. Our host was very friendly, gave us an informative tour and conducted the tasting in a friendly and informative manner. We tasted more wines than we expected to taste and they were all excellent and different from each other. I highly recommend visiting.

Beautiful wines from both banks of the Northern Rhône, both whites and reds. Nice tour of the winery and very engaging host.
Fabulous wine tasting of most of the key regions in northern Rhone

Jerome was our guide and gave a thorough tour of the winery. He answered all our questions with thoroughness. We tasted five whites and six reds. I love Rhone whites but didn’t realize they were only grown in a few areas. The Syrahs were a joy. Syrah is my favorite red and it was worth the wait to taste great Rhone Syrahs.

Notre guide nous a bien accueilli en prenant le temps de nous faire parcourir le chai et la gamme des vins du domaine, ainsi que répondre à toutes nos questionsBelles découvertes en Crozes Hermitage et CornasLe domaine a été racheté comme beaucoup d’autres par Chapoutier, ainsi va l’histoire…

Dans le cadre d'un séjour adapté avec des seniors nous avons pu bénéficier d'une visite ainsi que d'une dégustation. Nous avons été très bien accueillis et tout était adapté au personnes à mobilité réduite. Merci encore pour ces belle découvertes !

Un super moment passer au sein de la maison Ferraton. 1h qui est passé beaucoup trop rapidement, une visite de la cave et une dégustation qui nous ont permis d’en apprendre d’avantage sur l’histoire de la cave, et le secteur géographique de la vallée du Rhône. Je vous recommande hautement cette visite.
