About the winery

Château Feely is a family-run organic winery near Saussignac, to the east of Bordeaux.

Sean and Caro shared a passion for wine when they met in Johannesburg in 1993.

Très belle découverte dans ce petit coin caché de Dordogne. Caro est très gentille et nous a offert un super moment pour découvrir leur univers. Les vins sont en plus excellents !

Caro was a very good host, full of information and ready to answer the many questions our group of 7 had. Enjoyed the wines and well paired cheeses too. Early June well timed for the vine flower scent but need to come later to see grapes and production in process.

From the moment we arrived, our host Caro, one half of Chateau Feely, made us feel like we were returning friends, we were offered extra hats and some chilled water before heading off to discover the vineyard which Caro and Sean have lovingly and painstakingly nurtured over the past 17 years. This was very enjoyable, learning lots about bio and bio-dynamique viticulture - we rounded off our tour with a tasting - such amazing wines produced here, I think that in addition to the terroir, the care and love given to each vine at Chateau Feely has created something very special indeed.

Accueil très chaleureux d'une personne passionnée, domaine avec une vue dominante sur Saussignac. Visite très sympathique avec une dégustation commentée, nous sentons la passion du vin dans les commentaires. Les vins sont surprenants, très minéraux et parfumés. Merci pour cette belle decouverte.

Superbe rencontre avec Caro qui prends un grand plaisir à nous présenter son amour pour ses vignes. Elle nous a expliqué le soin qui été apporté à chaque parcelle et cela se retrouve dans le verre. Des vins fruités et savoureux. Attentionnée et à l'écoute, nous avons eu une super guide !
