Tomas, at Caves Ambacia, is a whirlwind of knowledge and experience. His enthusiasm carries you through a world of wine and lands in his greatest fountain of knowledge at the Loire Valley. Some of the most amazing wines in the Loire Valley carefully curated and selected for the tasting experience. Would spend an entire day listening to Tomas and eating the best of local produce along with wines that will make you feel a new warmth and respect to the wine makers.Such a great experience. Well worth taking the tour and the tasting and excellent value for money.

Animateurs passionnés et expérience très enrichissante.

A short but interesting wine tour. The cave shared many basic knowledges about wine with interactive devices to let us experience by ourselves. There was more fun in the wine tasting section. We tasted 7 distinct wines accompanied by slices of cheese and sausages. Unfortunately we turned out to find that the bottle we bought was fully moldy after we left Amboise. In the end we threw it away and didn’t get a refund back…

Excellent accueil, stationnement motos proposé par le patron, la visite de la cave vous immergera dans le métier du vin, très didactique, les explications sont claires et la dégustation fait sauter de fausses croyances sur le blanc sec et le fromage... Le restaurant terrasse est très agréable avec une carte variée (Attention cependant à la durée d'attente qui pourra paraître longue pour certains). Une expérience à faire de toute évidence.

We enjoyed the visit very much. Thomas was informative and entertaining. We feel as if we came away with more knowledge about wine than before, which is what should happen!
