Pique Russe

Pique Russe er en lille økologisk vingård beliggende i Gourvillette i Charente-Maritime, hvor ejeren viste os rundt både på markerne og inde i produktionen. Han var super flink og uformel og man fik et rigtigt godt indtryk at både stedet og vinene. Han taler perfekt engelsk og hunde er velkomne. Vi har besøgt en del vingårde i forskellige lande og dette besøg er det bedste vi har prøvet, kæmpe anbefaling herfra

Une très belle découverte que cette exploration vinicole au milieu des terres de l’AOC Cognac. Si comme nous vous cherchez de vrais vignerons faisant du vin de qualité, en bio de surcroît, arrêtez vous chez Pique Russe. Cyrille fait partager sa passion du vin de la vigne au verre.

What great way to spend a few hours. Cyrille and his dad where the perfect hosts, knowledgeable, passionate and easy going. We learned so much and the wines themselves were excellent. We're so happy we got to experience this tour and tasting. It would be good value at four times the price. Evan wants to go back in the summer to help with the harvest :-)

We all 4 of us had a great experience. The visit was very good & informative, plenty of time was spent with us, not rushed in any way.

Im so happy I did this tour and tasting and Im sure you will be so too, if you book it! The host Cyrille was very good at explaining alot about everything from growing the grapes, to producing the wine, and was answering all my questions with great passion. His English is perfect and flawless, making the experience perfect for a non french speaker like me. I loved everything from the tour of the winelots to the explanation in the cellar about production to the tasing experience. He has some really tasty and unique wines that i also really enjoyed! 10/10 would definitely recommend this tour!

Attended Pique Russe with some friends while on holiday. We had an amazing experience, thanks to Cyrille who was happy to answer our endless questions! After seeing how the wine was made and stored, we got onto the tasting which was brilliant. We then went to the vineyard to see the different crops and even got to see some maintenance of the vines! We then headed back to the cellar to continue the wine tasting and obviously purchased some wine for dinners while on holiday. I couldn't recommend this tour and tasting any more, I will definitely be back with family!

On a passé avec Cyrille un pure moment d'authenticité avec un passionné du métier de la vigne. Les vins du pic russe sont de bonne qualité et les échanges avec Cyrille super intéressant. A faire entre ami et amoureux des bonnes choses

It was a fantastic experience. The host was very knowledgeable, friendly and engaging. We firstly got to explore his vineyard before a tour round his winery. We were taught about his wine making process, which finished off with tasting a number of beautiful wines! I would highly recommend this experience to anybody in the area. Such a great find at a fantastic price!

This tour and tasting is a great little find, somewhat off the beaten track. There were 6 of us, and started with a tour of Yves’ vines and the history of his brand, all very interesting. We went back to his distillery for an explanation of how his wine is made and the different ‘blends’. This was followed into his ‘cave’ for a tasting session. We tried all of his wines. We were a little sceptical of Charentais Wines, but these surpassed all that we have tried before! Needless to say we left with a few cases! Yves is very knowledgeable and charismatic, and a great host. We will definitely be recommending this to all our friends and guests staying at our gites.
