About the winery

Our wine estate is located in the commune of Saleilles in the Pyrénées-Orientales. We cultivate a vineyard of 17 hectares on the appellations Côtes du Roussillon, and Rivesaltes Grenat and Ambré. We also produce wines with the geographically protected indications (IGP) Pays des Côtes Catalanes and Côtes Catalanes.

Hartelijk ontvangst door de eigenaar die ook de rondleiding deed. Vol enthousiasme vertelde hij over de historie van de wijngaard en de wijnen. Daarna alle wijnen mogen proeven. Ronduit heerlijk in een fijne ontspannen ambiance. Onze eerste wijnproeverij maar zeker niet de laatste.

Le propriétaire prend beaucoup de temps pour la visite et explique tout très bien. Le nombre de vins à déguster est très élevé et les vins sont très bons.Hautement recommandé.

A delightful experience. We have been coming to Mas Alart for some years now, and it was lovely to have time to chat with M Belmas and learn something of his philosophy of viniculture. Also fabulous wine-tasting (including some not yet bottled!) and delicious snacks. Well worth the journey!
