Domaine Betton

Christelle runs a 10.5 hectare vineyard nestling in the heart of the Northern Rhône Valley terroirs, encompassing the prestigious Hermitage and Crozes-Hermitage appellations, renowned for their finesse. A self-taught winemaker, she is passionate about making the most of her family's heritage, producing her vintages (Caprice, Espiègle, Circé, ... Élixir and Arpège) with the greatest respect for the soil and the environment.

The plots of red Crozes-Hermitage are located in the Châssis terroir, made up of alluvial soils and rounded pebbles, where the Syrah grape expresses itself to the full. This rich, complex northern variety offers delicate notes of red and black fruit, mixed with violets and spices.

The Crozes-Hermitage white and Hermitage plots, located on the slopes of the Hermitage hill, produce exceptionally fine whites. The grapes are harvested by hand, and the vinification and ageing are meticulously selected for each parcel. see more
