Château Capitoul

Château Capitoul, renowned since Roman times and known to Julius Caesar, was founded during that era. In the 14th century, the canons of Narbonne Cathedral planted the first vines, marking the beginning of its viticultural history.

In 2015, Château Capitoul was elevated to the status of Cru La Clape, joining the prestigious French ... appellations recognized internationally. Spanning 100 hectares of pine forests and scrubland, complemented by 64 hectares of vineyards, the estate extends to the edges of the lagoon, offering an exceptional setting.

Strongly influenced by its proximity to the Mediterranean, this unique vineyard produces wines with remarkable freshness. The diversity of soils, including clay-gravel, marl limestone, and clay-limestone, gives Château Capitoul wines a distinctive power and elegance.
