I came with my wife, who had just one or two glasses of white wine, and our friend Lynn. Lynn and I did the tasting and had a good experience. There was no tour. The gentleman was very nice. The wines were solid and appropriate for the price of the tasting. I’ve always enjoyed Jaboulet wines. My favorites over the years have been the ’83 Hermitage La Chapelle and the ’85 Côte-Rôtie Les Jumelles.

The atmosphere in this establishment was very pleasant, and we were warmly welcomed. We didn’t take a tour, but we had a tasting during which we were given a detailed explanation of the estate, its goals and objectives, as well as a fascinating story about the wine we tasted. We were offered three or four samples, I don’t remember exactly but I’m sure the wines were of excellent quality. The staff were very friendly and answered all our questions in detail. At the end of the tasting, we bought some wines. My friends and I were on a study tour of the northern Rhône and southern Burgundy. I’m ready to give them an A on a five-point scale.
