Clos Sorian

Situated in the heart of the Grés de Montpellier region, Clos Sorian is a family-run winery dedicated to organic farming, where respect for the terroir and traditional craftsmanship guide every stage of the process. Founded by Florent Granier, the winery is now run alongside his sons Dimitri and Gabriel, in a spirit of passing on the legacy and ... ensuring continuity.

Both in the vineyard and in the cellar, organic farming practices are minimally interventionist in order to preserve the truest expression of the grapes, the soils and each vintage. The winemaking is meticulous and the ageing carefully managed, enabling the production of both approachable, enjoyable wines and great wines with excellent ageing potential, recognised as some of the Languedoc’s iconic cuvées, capable of ageing gracefully over the years.

The winery is now situated on a remarkable site whose origins date back to the 12th century. This place, steeped in history, has been home to continuous wine-making activity for at least 400 years. By taking over these buildings, Clos Sorian is part of a strong commitment to preserving heritage, breathing new life into a winery historically dedicated to wine.
