About the winery

Located just 40 minutes from Perpignan, the story of Mas Amiel begins like a film: in 1816, over a game of cards, the bishop of Perpignan loses his winery to a Ponts et Chaussées engineer, Raymond Etienne Amiel. At the time, the estate consisted of 10 hectares of vines planted in the middle of the garrigue.

Al llegar nos atendió una persona que hablaba muy poco español y casi nada inglés, por esto pongo solo una estrella porque realmente no había visita guiada, nos dio la información muy básica de una charla de 1 minuto y nada más. Los vinos están muy buenos y de gran calidad tanto vinos tintos como vinos dulces.
