About the winery

Located just 40 minutes from Perpignan, the story of Mas Amiel begins like a film: in 1816, over a game of cards, the bishop of Perpignan loses his winery to a Ponts et Chaussées engineer, Raymond Etienne Amiel. At the time, the estate consisted of 10 hectares of vines planted in the middle of the garrigue.

LA VISITA FUE EXCELENTE, LA ATENCION DEL GUIA, SUS EXPLICACIONES, SU ESFUERZO POR HABLAR EN ESPAÑOL PARA NUESTRA MAYOR COMPRENSION PESE A QUE LA VISITA LA HABIAMOS PAUTADO EN INGLES, LAS BARRICAS DE MADERA, EL PERFUME DE LA BODEGA, REALMENTE MARAVILLOSO. AUN MAS SORPRENDENTE FUE LA CATA DE VINOS DULCES Y SECOS. Bonjour, vraiment très agréable, nous sommes venu le 8 novembre pour déguster un vin qui me tenait à cœur ❤️ . nous n avons pas été dessus. Vins exceptionnellement bon et original. Et très bien accueilli cela fait plaisir. Le coffre est plein ?. A bientôt.

Al llegar nos atendió una persona que hablaba muy poco español y casi nada inglés, por esto pongo solo una estrella porque realmente no había visita guiada, nos dio la información muy básica de una charla de 1 minuto y nada más. Los vinos están muy buenos y de gran calidad tanto vinos tintos como vinos dulces.
