The distillery

Clos de Nancrevant is a 35 hectares family-owned winery situated on the Hauts de Chaniers, between Saintes and Cognac. Today, Caroline and Mathieu are grower-distiller, perpetuate the old know-how of the distillation to produce Cognac with their traditional still.

Superbe visite et dégustation

Nous avons été superbement accueillis par Caroline, qui nous a présenté l'activité de leur exploitation viticole. Visite passionnante et détaillée, avec une grande disponibilité pour répondre à nos questions. Dégustation ensuite de pineau des Charentes et de trois Cognac. Nous sommes repartis avec des bouteilles et avons passé un très bon moment d'1h30. Merci !

We had a lovely afternoon tour of the winery and distillery. Caroline made us feel welcome and explained about all the processes. We learned a lot, and then tasted almost all the products. And then we bought some to take home.

The proprietor was very friendly and her English was very good. The tour was very interesting and informative and as it is a family business felt more personalised than visiting one of the larger Cognac houses. The tasting afterwards was very good and the wines, Pineau and Cognac delicious. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Accueil très chaleureux, visite des chais explication du fonctionnement de l'alambic très intéressante, dégustation selon nos envies. Visite à faire sans oublier de passer par la boutique pour trouver des produits de qualité et à prix très raisonnables En résumé un très bon moment

Le propriétaire du clos, connaît très bien tous ces produits. Ils sont présentés de très belles manières, à toutes les questions, il y a des réponses claire et nettes, ce fut un plaisir. Je pense que nous nous reverrons.
