We visited Maison Gabriel Meffre in July. It was a pre-booked guidance and winetasting. The host was very nice, knowledgeable and good in story telling, in addition fluent in English which was very good for us, being limited in understanding French.The wine we tasted, and bought, was indeed very good as well!

L’expérience s’est bien passée. Cependant, le monsieur qui nous a fait la visite était assez réservé, mais cela venait aussi du fait que l’autre couple présent ne parlait pas beaucoup. L’ambiance manquait donc un peu de chaleur et d’échanges, même pendant la dégustation.

…. Si vous êtes en week-end pour découvrir ou redécouvrir et apprécier les vins régionaux. Après de longues recherches concernant une activité de dégustation de crus de la vallée du Rhône j ai opté pour cet atelier prestige car il propose un vrai tour d’horizon avec des vins d’exception. Plus de 5 vins et d’autres surprises. Les explications fournis par l’œnologue étaient claires et intéressantes. Un temps fort de notre superbe week-end.

Merci à Jasper pour cet instructif tour du propriétaire (parcelles proches, arrivée du raisin juste vendangé, cuves) et échange avec les vignerons. La dégustation de la gamme fut conviviale et intéressante, nous avons même pu demander de tester une autre référence avant nos achats (4 caisses avec 10% de remise)
