Domaine Rességuier

The domaine Rességuier winery is one of the only wineries that is still located in the city of Cahors, just 3 minutes by car from the city center. It is a small family-owned winery, with a 6.5 hectares vineyard, where modernity and tradition are gathered to make great wines, in the respect for vine and soils. The estate is undergoing organic ... conversion and is certified HVE "High Environmental Value".

With green harvesting and leaf thinning, the estate masters all the stages of the wine-making process, from the vine to the bottling and vinification.

Laurent Rességuier, current owner and 4th generation of winemaker in the family, took time to understand his environment and his terroir to get the best of it in his wines.

The terroir of the Cahors wine appellation benefits from particular limestone soils, bringing finesse and roundness to red wines, and a beautiful freshness to rosé wines. see more
