Château Taillefer

Family led, independent business which provides a smart and entry level experience for Pomerol. The chateau is pretty, and the lady leading the visit professional and explains really well. Obviously it's not a top tier pomerol producer, which fills the gap quite nicely if you want to access a premium area at a fair price.

We had the most wonderful experience at Château Taillefer! We had a private tasting and honestly couldn’t have been happier with our visit. The woman who hosted our tasting was amazing – so friendly, passionate and incredibly knowledgeable. She gave us so much interesting information about the estate, Pomerol and the wines, but in a very relaxed and personal way. You could really feel how much she knew and cared about what she was doing. And the wines… absolutely incredible! Some of our favourite wines from our entire Bordeaux trip. The whole visit felt warm, genuine and special, and we left so happy. Definitely one of the highlights of our time in Bordeaux and an experience we will remember. We would absolutely recommend a visit! ?
