Château Phélan Ségur

Nous avons été accueillis de la meilleure des manières, petite ardoise avec notre nom, ce qui ne parait pas grand chose mais amène malgré tout un effet de convivialité et de considération. La visite était complète et personnalisée, la dégustation en fin de session est très enrichissante et laisse place à l'analyse des différents breuvages.

Nous avons passé un moment excellent avec Mathilde ! Explications très claires, réponses à toutes nos questions et une visite très classe ! Les vins étaient super également et nous en avons acheter plusieurs. Le domaine est très joli et bien emménagé.Nous avons appris beaucoup de choses sur la viticulture, c'était apprécié.Merci encore pour le petit sauvetage de notre petite d'un an à l'heure du goûté ?

Our host Mathilde was very nice and gave us a small tour on the property, including the cellar. The story was very informative and she was open to all our questions. It was followed by a tasting of 4 wines in the beautiful mansion next door. Nice experience overall.

Tout est superlatif dans cette visite! Arrivée par un circuit destiné à faire découvrir la beauté du château dans son écrin. Réception VIP par une équipe irréprochable. Dégustaion, après explication du cycle du vin, de très bonne qualité. Ambiance qualité, mais sourire.. Topissimo!!!

Great visit! Tour was detailed and we were able to ask many questions about the wine making process and the aging potential of the wines. The estate is beautiful and the wine tasting, while of relatively young wines, was very helpful to understand the different vintages and aging potential. Recommend!

We visited this splendid chateau on one of the hottest day ever on record in France but the lovely Matilde welcomed us and made us extremely comfortable. Visiting the cool barrel room was the perfect place for her to give us a detailed explanation of the complex process they use to make wine at Phelan Segur. Afterwards, we had a vertical tasting and Matilde explained everthing perfecly and made us feel very special. We bought some wine to be shipped to the US. I highly recommend this experience to anyone interested in Bordeaux wine!!!!

Our visit was fantastic. We saw the vineyards and tried some excellent wine. We had a very clear explanation on the "terroir" and our guide was friendly and thoughtful, not hesitating to go the extra mile to make sure we enjoyed the visit. I would highly recommend it!
